Celestite is a fairly soft transparent to translucent pale blue sedimentary mineral composed of Strontium Sulfate. The name "celestite" comes from the Latin word "caelestis" meaning "of the sky", and doubtless refers to the sky-blue colouration of this lovely mineral. The colour itself is quite soothing to look upon, this crystal can elevate the energy within its environment and is a perfect addition to any place at home or office.
